Lead Senior Electrical Engineer - Drive Innovation & quality in Norwegian Oil & Gas Projects
We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer - Supervisor to join one of Norway’s leading companies in the oil and gas sector. This is a high-impact role that offers an exciting opportunity to shape, lead, and support teams in delivering critical maintenance and modification projects.
Flexible Location: Stavanger, Oslo or Bergen
About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer Supervisor, you will take on a leadership role, managing and supporting a team of electrical engineers and guiding them toward the successful execution of projects. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a liaison between the client and engineering and construction suppliers, ensuring the team understands and meets project requirements. You will:
- Lead and mentor electrical engineers working on complex maintenance and modification projects.
- Provide technical clarification and guidance to engineers, addressing challenges and ensuring the team stays aligned with project goals and client expectations.
- Collaborate directly with a major Norwegian oil and gas operator, upholding the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
This role will give you the chance to play a pivotal part in the ongoing development of key industry projects while fostering collaboration across multiple high-profile engineering suppliers.

Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on Norwegian projects.
- Strong familiarity with the NCS (Norwegian Continental Shelf) and Norwegian industry standards.
- Proven expertise in leading maintenance and modification projects within the Norwegian oil and gas industry.
- Working knowledge of relevant IT systems such as MIPS, ProCoSys, PIMS, IFS, and similar is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; Norwegian proficiency is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple suppliers and teams.
