RT NDT Technicians needed for exciting new project

We are looking for an NDT Operator with RT Level 2 in Norway!

Workplace: Oil Refinery in Norway

Start: January 2025

End: Permanent employment

Working schedule: 2 weeks on and 3 weeks off rotation

The equipment you will operate is a new RTR Technology. Training will be provided at the Equipment manufacturer facility.

Requirements

• Radiation safety training
• Valid NDT RT (Industrial Radiographic) Level 2 certificate
• Norwegian Radiation Protection or UK Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS)
• IRATA Rope Access is desirable

Minimum criteria is to be trained RT Level 1 with valid certificate and at least 6 months experience.

Scope

The NDT Operator RT Level 2 with a higher level of responsibility and expertise, is responsible for performing the RTR equipment OpenVision inspections to identify and evaluate any defects or anomalies, but generally, their responsibilities include:

• Understanding the principles of the RTR Open Vision system and the techniques used for inspection. (Will be trained)

• Following established inspection procedures and standards to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.

• Setting up and calibrating testing equipment and ensuring that it is operating properly.

• Conducting and supervising inspections according to the test procedures and specifications.

• Interpreting test results and documenting findings accurately and comprehensively.

• Communicating results to appropriate parties, including supervisors, engineers, and clients.

• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration checks on testing equipment to ensure accuracy and prevent equipment failure.

• Providing guidance and supervision to NDT Level 1 Inspectors.

• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment for themselves and others. Responsible for radiation safety, including safety boundary, reporting, collecting and recording radiation exposure.
