Are you a problem-solving enthusiast with a passion for energy markets or application support and development? We're hiring a Support Engineer to join our innovative Bergen-based Support team at Brady, a leading energy trading software provider shaping the future of energy markets across the Nordics and Europe.
About You:
- Numerate degree (economics, mathematics, finance, computer science etc.)
- Previous application support experience (a plus)
- Ideally, familiarity with financial or energy market concepts
- Excellent communication skills in Norwegian (essential) and English (essential)
- IT-savvy with great problem-solving abilities and a thirst for learning
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
Your Role:
- As a Support Engineer, you'll be the primary touchpoint for 1st and 2nd line support, ensuring timely and effective solutions for our customers.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Support Excellence: Handle support requests through JIRA, investigating, replicating, diagnosing, and resolving customer issues promptly and efficiently.
- Collaboration: Work closely with advanced Software Engineers, providing detailed documentation and reproduction steps in JIRA for complex issues, ensuring effective solutions.
- Product Enhancement: Contribute to the product backlog by inserting relevant issues, aiding in prioritization and continuous improvement.
- Services work: Positioned in our Services and Support team, you may contribute to our services team when seen efficient, providing additional services for our product and customer base.
- Customer Engagement: Keep customers informed on the progress of their requests, maintaining excellent communication throughout the resolution process.
- Knowledge Development: Build and maintain expertise in Brady products and the evolving energy market landscape, ensuring you provide cutting-edge support.
