As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Senior Structural designer E3D/2D with experience in onshore or offshore projects.

Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing?

• You will participate in an EPCIC modification project, taking on varied tasks and responsibilities, including:
• Designing modules, main structures, outfitting structures, support structures, and temporary structures.
• Reviewing drawings created by others.
• Attending project meetings.
• Using E3D as the main design tool.

Qualifications we think you should have:

• MSc/BSc degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent in English both spoken and written
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong skills in E3D, AutoCAD, MS Office, and TIME.
• Familiarity with government and client requirements.
• Personal qualities: organized, flexible, independent, and a team player.
