Our summer internship is a 7-weeks programme designed to provide the experience and skills you need in your studies and future career. Our Norwegian internship will begin on 23 June and ends on 8 August 2025.

The position
CFO FCOE (Functional Centre of Excellence) is an integrated business enabler that provides functional and cross-functional competence, capacity and service across Equinor for Communications, Finance and Control, People and Organisation, Safety, Security and Sustainability, Management support and administration, facility management, service management and real estate management.
CFO FCOE WOX (Workplace Operational Excellence) is a unit in FCoE consisting of 110 professionals based in Norway, US, UK, Brazil and Belgium within Real Estate management, Facility management, Service management and Graphical services. We deliver efficient business support services in accordance with functional priorities and business needs across Equinor countries and locations. Our purpose is to provide an efficient workday for all in Equinor and by joining us as a summer intern you will have the opportunity to gain insight in how we create and implement the company’s future workplaces.
In this role, you will:
- Gain insight in the management of a large and global real estate portfolio (134 properties, 1,1 million square meters, 20.000 workstations);
- Participate in REFM projects;
- Learn about vendor management;
- Contribute to improvement initiatives (digital improvements, office outfits etc);
- Work closely with highly skilled professionals within the REFM function and liaise with our internal users across the company.
You
For this position we are looking for those with:
- Currently studying for Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a strong academic record within Real estate and facility management/Business administration/Project management/Architecture, Design/Business management/Engineering.
- Fluent in English.
- No more than two years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Have completed at least two years of higher education before the internship programme starts (23 June 2025).
- Have at least one year of higher education left after the internship programme ends (8 August 2025).
- The interns need to be located in the country where the internship takes place during its entire duration. Equinor does not support any relocation for our summer interns.
- Candidates must have the necessary work permit for the country in which they are applying for a position. The work permits must be valid at the point of application and for the duration of the employment. - Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work are an advantage.
