As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage is now looking for: Structural Discipline Lead Deputy with experience in onshore or offshore projects.
Aker Solutions take care of energy assets in a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we explore opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.
What will you be doing?
You will be responsible for overseeing and following up on dedicated systems with tasks such as:
- Preparing Commissioning Boundary Documents, Procedures, Job Cards, and CPCL/CR.
- Collaborating daily with the site/offshore Commissioning Team.
- Actively participating in FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and commissioning activities at supplier premises.
- Handling Commissioning Queries (CQ) and contributing to Commissioning Package Handover to Operations.
- Attending meetings as requested by the Completion Manager.
- Performing occasional offshore trips when necessary.
Qualifications we think you should have:
- MSc/BSc degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a structural engineer, with knowledge of Aker systems and methodology.
- Strong attention to detail, flexible, organized, and service-minded.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with government and client requirements.
- Proficient in E3D, MS Office, NavisWorks, MIPS, and TIME.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Extensive experience with relevant software tools and project execution.
