About the job and your responsibilities

You will join the Group Treasury & Tax department of Norsk Hydro and be part of the Financing & FX team which is responsible for external treasury arrangements and corresponding internal services.

You will work with a range of tasks related to financing of Hydro and subsidiaries, in a role with both internal and external interfaces:

• Support external financing, equity transactions and credit related topics.
• Contribute to preparing and executing financial policy issues, e.g. interest rate policy, dividend, and share buy-backs.
• Follow up and manage financing of Hydro's subsidiaries and serve as an internal advisor on funding related topics.
• Advice on and follow-up compliance with group standards and financial policies.
• Support the communication and deliveries towards rating agencies, monitor the ability to meet credit rating targets.

Your qualifications and skills

• University degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Business Administration.
• Minimum three years' experience within financing/corporate finance from a bank or international company.
• Practical and theoretical knowledge of financing markets and relevant products.
• Good understanding of legal issues related to loan/bond documentation and bank agreements.
• Thrives in fast-paced working environments.
• Good communication and presentation skills, in English, both verbal and written.

Personal competencies:

The ability to analyze complex financial data, market trends, and risk factors is crucial. An analytical mindset and structured approach will help in making informed decisions and managing financial assets effectively.

Your involvement in decision making, governance and large transactions will require strong negotiation, coordination, and project management skills.

The position will also require you to work both independently and as a collaborator in teams.
