Business Process Owner OCPIS

Role description:

We have for some years worked hard on streamlining the structures and processes for setting up new, and change existing product structures, as well as creating and maintaining prices and product information. We call this project One Common Product Information Structure (OCPIS). To ensure that this work is being continued and improved, we will hire a Business Process Owner (BPO) for OCPIS and Order-to-Delivery process, with focus on the Manufacturing area.

The BPO will play a key role in ensuring efficient process for the work with the Configurable Product Structures and the price calculation of those, hereunder set-up in our Product/Price Management System (PMS), set-up in SAP, testing in our CPQ/Online ordering, and releasing to markets.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Coordinate, monitor and improve the process around creating and maintaining product structures in PMS and SAP, for factories and sales companies.
• Coordinate, monitor and improve the process for maintaining prices in factories and sales companies.
• Coordinate integration of processes in SAP and sales support systems.
• Improve Order-to-Delivery processes on factory level.

Must-haves:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject (or equivalent degree in a technical education). Long, relevant experience can compensate for missing education.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in at least two or more of these departments: Order Desk, Product Management, Production Planning, and R&D.
• Knowledge of the following areas in SAP: Sales & Distribution, Materials Management.
• Knowledge of business process mapping.
• Ability to break down complex issues to their basic elements, and evaluate process before enacting solutions.
• Ability to make decisions independently and work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2 - C2).

Nice-to-haves:

• Strong communication skills in other European languages (B2 - C2).

Organisational placement

• The BPO will report to the Director Customer Platforms and Business Processes, who is located in Klepp, Norway. No relocation is required for this position. 
• Some travel is expected, for the most part to our European factories.
