Clariant Oil Services is looking for a Project Manager

A vacancy has arisen within the North Sea Contract Management team for a Project Manager to support the contracts in Norway/Denmark.

The position will be based in the Clariant office in Stavanger or Bergen and will report to Sales Manager North Sea in Norway. However, travel to customer offices within Norway, Denmark and other Clariant locations will also be required.

The role will involve:

• Follow up of projects within scale, separation, water injection and other chemical applications
• Identification and development of new sales opportunities
• Implementation of new technologies 
• Offshore service, field trial, product optimizations
• Contract delivery - Ensuring compliance with and meeting / exceeding the agreed terms and KPIs for the contract
• Establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with customer

The position will require high customer satisfaction; therefor commitment to fulfilling customer expectations is paramount.

Candidate Requirements

Interested candidates should have relevant skills, qualifications, and experience in the following areas:

• A degree in Chemistry, Process engineering or a related technical or business discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of oil industry technologies and oilfield production chemistry solutions.
• Offshore experience related to process and production chemistry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English, together with strong interpersonal skills, are required to build positive and productive long-term relationships with the customer at all levels.
• Strong analytical and IT skills are required along with the ability to work both as part of a team or on own initiative to meet tight deadlines.
