- White English and Arabic day weel.

- Original crystal with some scratches in fear condition.

- Original unsigned crown.

- Original dial and hands in excellent condition. Dial marked “JAPAN 6309-735N R” and Suwa symbol.

- Original bezel in fear condition.

- Included genuine Seiko Turtle’s SRP777K1 rubber strap.

- In good running condition.

Seiko 6309-729a, this is a cool diver, predecessor of the SKX and the 7002 divers, in a slim turtle case with a Pepsi bezel. A Less Recognized Classic Turtle model made between 1976 and 1988. With the same movement as the bigger brother, it has a 6309 movement inside, featuring day/date on the dial. The dial design is different though. The slim turtle came in mainly 3 different theme, the black bezel on black dial which is the 6309-7290, the Pepsi with blue/red bezel on black dial which is the 6309-729A, and finally the very rare orange dial with black bezel and gold fonts, which is the 6309-729B.What makes mine special is that it is all original and in pretty good condition, without rot on the dial and hands. For some reason, these models are very hard to find unmolested. From what I have heard / read, these were inexpensive, so people wore / modded them to death.

The case and bezel show some wear like scratches and small dings from use over the past 35 years. See the pictures but overall I'd just call it good vintage condition with a bit of character. Definitely not new old stock so if that is what you are looking for this might not be for you. Seals are replaced and pressure tested а two year ago. However, there is no guarantee on water resistance! Certified pre-owned, Running fine. Ready to wear.

NOTE:

- Some slight but noticeable scratches on the crystal.

- The hands and lume pip on the bezel light up slightly but it is more correct to consider that the lume is dead. It’s a normal for a vintage watch.

- Rotative bezel turn but is little tight.
