Seiko Prospex “Save The Ocean” Solar Diver

Part of the “Save The Ocean” series, this Seiko Prospex Solar Special Edition Chronograph has a solar powered movement. Proceeds from sales benefit the Fabien Cousteau Ocean Learning Centre, dedicated to raising awareness of ways to protect marine life and habitats.

Water Resistance, Dial, Bezel

Firstly, water resistant to 200 m/660 ft, the Seiko Prospex Save The Ocean Solar Special Edition has all the attributes you expect from a professional Diver’s watch. Secondly, the blue dial has intricate wave patterns. Also, it has high-visibility hour markers and hands coated in Lumibrite. Furthermore, a legible minute track is at the extreme edge of the dial. Moreover, a uni-directional turning bezel surrounds the dial in two shades of blue. Unusually, the chronograph pushers and screw-down crown are in black which makes a striking contrast to the stainless steel case.

Solar-Powered Movement

Equipped with a remarkable solar calibre V175 movement, the watch can operate for 6 months from fully charged and has an accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month.
