Tin, battery operated helicopter, called Super Flying Helicopter made by TPS Japan. 33 centimeters long and is complete and all original with the exception of a missing cabin shield. It has a air ride like action when the battery op is turned on, with the helicopter raising itself and lowering, spinning and running across the floor accompanied by flashing lights and a lot of noise. It is a bit slow, needs a push sometime.

The last photo shows the toy as seen on page 181 of the terrific book about TPS toys Japanese Toys Amusing Playthings From the Past. The copter is in excellent condition with bright shiny litho and a great gloss.

There is a little darkening to the hubcaps of the copter but overall everything is in great shape. The battery case is flawless; the helicopter takes two C batteries and works great.

TPS is known for making toys with intricate actions and this is a great example of one of its battery operated classics.
