As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner, NES Advantage is now looking for a: Senior Instrument System Engineer (Hugin A project) with experience of onshore or offshore projects.

Aker Solutions delivers integrated solutions, products and services to the global energy industry. Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.

What will you be doing?

• Instrument System Engineering for assigned systems
• Design to be performed by creating System Control Diagram Diagram (SCD), Cause and Effect (C&E), Functional description, sequences
• Relevant system(s) will be assigned at start and could be ESD, PSD, PCS, F&G

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Good understanding of oil and gas process functionality
• Relevant experience in SCD production
• Knowledge of NORSOK standards
• Previous experience with Norwegian oil and gas offshore projects
• Knowledge of Aker Solutions engineering tools like COMOS and ProARC is an advantage
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Work location: Fornebu (Oslo), Norway. Other locations in Norway are open for discussion. 

Contract duration: February 2027 with option for extension
