The 562NS is a standalone residential smoke alarm from GE Security that is designed to be battery operated with a 3V lithium battery. The 562NS smoke alarm comes with a field replaceable optical chamber, an inbuilt drift compensation, an inbuilt 85dB temporal sounder, as well as an optional inbuilt heat detection. The 562NS smoke alarm also features a white colored appearance, a pre-programmed 1 million code transmitter ID, a PWM smoke detector signal format, plus a 135.0 °F fixed heat detection rate, and a simple installation. This standalone smoke detector can easily detect smoke when a fire outbreak has occurred, and is designed to be easy to install within most applications.
