Purchaser
On behalf of one of our customers we are searching for a candidate to fill the position Purchaser.
This role provides: Manage purchases and close communication with the Rig Manager/ Operation Manager.
Long term assignment, with possibility. Start up as soon as possible, but our customer can wait for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
• Weekly and monthly update KPI forms
• Receipt of order/item according to established procedure
• Ensure maintenance, effective allocation of purchase cost effective allocation ofresources
• Work closely whit the Storekeeper offshore to optimizing operation
• Purchase orders: In addition to the order of spare parts and equipment to Rig order on“PR” should Purchaser make sure that equipment sent for maintenance if “WO” will beperformed
• Make sure the submission of equipment will be placed according to established procedure
Commercial
• In consultation with the Rig Leader/Operations Managers, optimize outgoing invoicedue date
• Involved in preparation of framework agreements, for correct reporting of revenues
• Involved in preparation of framework agreements, coordinate these according toestablished instructions
• Increase market knowledge in order to achieve the best price and quality
• Negotiate whit supplier to achieve the best conditions
• Optimize the equipment warehouse on rig and base by moving the majority ofinventory to supplier
Personnel
• Close communication with cost controllers on the financial centre
• Maintain good contact between onshore and offshore organization
• Maintain and develop a good relationship with supplier and competitors
• Liaise whit other teams to get the best supplier agreements
• Purchase guard
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree is required for this position. Related study degree could be:Purchaser/logistics, economy and technical subject. Experience can compensate forlack of formal education.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics, purchaser or longer experience associatedwhit the field
• Key skills for this function are order, overview, structure, good ability to plan andcoordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good IT knowledge and good communication skills in Norwegian and English, bothoral and written
