About the role
- You will be part of our People and Organization function and have a key role in the Norway People Operations team from our headquarter in Stavanger.
- You will support 600 employees working together on every aspect of development from first concepts through to final production of our most advanced simulators.
- You will be responsible for the Norwegian payroll function, work broadly with all payroll-related responsibilities, and be able to shape our future going forward.
- You will work in a multinational working environment with more than 50 different nationalities in Norway alone.
What are the key responsibilities in this role?
- Manage and own payroll-related topics from A-Z and agreements for Norway.
- Engage in dialogue, follow up, and collaboration with our external payroll service partner, as well as work closely with HR, Finance, and Accounting.
- Responsible for disseminating information related to payroll, pensions, and insurance within the organization, as well as publishing relevant information in our employee handbook and intranet.
- Responsible for numerical data and calculations related to annual salary negotiations and promotions/career paths (in collaboration with the People Operations Manager).
- Provide operational support for our global Compensation & Benefits function.
- Ensure that all employees at Laerdal Medical receive the correct salary on time and comply with laws and regulations related to payroll and taxation.

What do we envision you bring in your backpack?
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in economics/administration/finance/HR or equivalent.
- Solid experience with payroll processes and broad expertise in this field.
- Experience with various payroll systems and payroll management software.
- Good knowledge of labor law, tax legislation, vacation law, the National Insurance Act, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Solid understanding of how accounting/payroll data must be correctly recorded for financial reporting.
- Knowledge of personnel administration and employee rights, including employment contracts, working time arrangements, leave, and collective agreements.
- Strong communication skills in Norwegian and English, both written and verbally.
