Our office at Stord is now looking for a Buyer to help us in our mission to #Powerthechange.
What will you be doing?
- Perform all procurement activities efficiently according to Aker Solutions’ Policy for Supply Chain
- Ensure that relevant systems are updated according to requirements
- Collaboration with support functions (legal, technical functions, cost control, planning, logistics, contract etc.) - Suppliers and subcontractors
- Represent the procurement team towards project management and the supplier market.
- Present contract status in reports and meetings
- Keep the contract and correspondence files updated
We think you should have:
- Bachelor within business and/or engineering, or long and relevant experience may compensate for lack higher education
- Preferable 1-3 years' experience from relevant roles
- Able to work independently with minimal need for support
- Proactive and flexible
- Team-player attitude
- Solution oriented mindset
- Good oral and written Norwegian and English language
