Mettler Toledo Cargoscan is looking for talented Test & Documentation Engineer

The Test & Documentation Engineer is the position that will be located at Oslo, Norway, and reports to Head of R&D. It is a temporary position for one year with possible extensions.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer & Test Engineer to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for creating clear and concise technical documentation while also conducting thorough testing of our products. This role requires good documentation practices skill, a good understanding on R&D product development and some experience product / system testing. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player with a passion for technical publications and a commitment to quality. 

 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain user manuals, technical guides, and other documentation for various products.
• Collaborate with manufacturing in defining, reviewing the platform assembly procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to gather information and ensure accuracy of content.
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify product functionality and performance.
• Identify, report, and track defects and ensure resolution prior to product release.
• Assist in the development of training materials and user support documentation.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical writing and testing.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.

·       Proven experience in technical writing and software testing.

·       Strong understanding of engineering concepts and product development processes.

·       Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

·       Proficient in documentation tools and testing software.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
