From 2008-2020, Mattel and Super7 offered new figures, beasts, vehicles, and playsets, in what became the most comprehensive and longest-running MOTU line of all time. Classics items were offered online, direct to fans through the MattyCollector and Super 7 websites.

These Masters of the Universe Classics figures, sculpted by the Four Horsemen, aimed to be the definitive toy versions of these characters. They had a level of articulation previously unseen in MOTU figures, as well as full accessories. The very limited releases of these toys resulted in high aftemarket prices online, sometimes within hours of their release.
