About the Job

As Head of Finance with us, you will be primarily responsible for developing and leading strategic financial initiatives that enhance our profitability while supporting our sustainability goals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and developing a team.
• Developing and implementing financial strategies and business plans in accordance with international standards (IFRS).
• Monitoring and analyzing the company's financial performance, including revenue, costs, and cash flow, to provide insights into operational results and profitability.
• Ensuring budget targets are met and analyzing the causes of any deviations.
• Working closely with the Operations Director and the sales department to understand revenue generation and cost control.
• Reporting to Mother company and adapting reporting systems to improve data collection and analysis.
• Developing internal systems to analyze product and service profitability and proposing strategic improvements.
• Collaborating with the risk department in Germany to ensure we make the best use of available resources.
• Contributing to strategic decisions that enhance the company’s profitability and sustainability.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and natural leadership abilities. We believe these qualities are essential to succeed as Head of Finance with us. Ideally, you have experience with international financial operations and the ability to balance complex reporting requirements. An interest in the coffee industry is an advantage, and you thrive in a dynamic business environment where adaptability is key to success.

• Proven experience in financial management, preferably with international business understanding.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to extract meaningful information from data.
• Ability to navigate rigid systems and reporting requirements while finding solutions to improve processes.
• Natural authority and the ability to challenge existing systems to achieve better results.
• An interest in the coffee industry and an understanding of the buying and selling of raw materials is a plus.
• Education in finance, economics, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop the team.
• Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to quickly implement effective solutions.
• Independent work approach with the ability to take initiative and responsibility.
• Good adaptability in a dynamic business environment.
• Risk orientation and the ability to identify and assess risks.
