Welding & Brazing Specialist

We are looking for a new Welding & Brazing Specialist to join our team in the workshop.
This role will be to provide support for the Operation for all Archer Oiltools locations.

Reporting line
As a Welding & Brazing Specialist you will report to Workshop Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service and maintenance of Oiltools product portfolio according to maintenance manuals and procedures.
• Welding and brazing of equipment, redress, rebuild and new build
• Inspection of equipment returning from field and evaluate status and follow up required
• Ensure stock is updated with correct redress equipment such as carbides, inserts rods etc.
• Ensure gas system is operational and supply requirement of gas is communicated
• Ensure all machinery within area of function is maintained and operational
• Preparation of tools for shipment offshore according to work order and procedures
• Preparation of offshore check lists for tools
• Participate in maintenance and housekeeping of Workshop area
• Prepare necessary job reports and documentation for all tool installation and offshore activities
• Project work

• Skilled work license as Welder or Mechanic

• Technical and operational experience
• Being able to use technical skills and experience to the benefits of our products 

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English & Norwegian
