The Study Department operates within the Engineering Business Area, focusing on providing comprehensive services in feasibility and concept studies, Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, and fabrication engineering for our subsea clients.
We work closely with our international organization and leverage Worley’s global consulting teams to ensure the successful execution of our projects. Current initiatives within our subsea team include the development of a Subsea Desalination Plant, marginal field development, and various conventional oil and gas subsea projects. With established long-term frame agreements, we are now expanding our department to enhance our project development and delivery capabilities.

We’re seeking a Senior Subsea Template and Manifold Engineer, Analysis and Calculation to join our highly skilled team. If you are looking for a role that values both your technical expertise and collaborative spirit, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead analysis and verification of subsea manifold and connection systems, including lifting calculations and structural assessments.
- Develop strength calculations and reports for subsea structures and manifold components.
- Conduct structural analysis using advanced software (e.g., ANSYS, SACS) to ensure subsea template integrity.
- Ensure design compliance with international subsea codes and standards.
- Coordinate with fabrication, installation, and quality teams to align design with project execution.
- Review and approve technical documents and procedures.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Participate in risk assessments, HAZIDs, and technical reviews to identify and address project risks.
Qualifications:
- MSc in Structural or Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Subsea Technology or Industrial O&G Asset Management; extensive experience may substitute for formal education.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in subsea engineering.
- Familiar with subsea template, manifold design, and connection systems.
- Knowledge of relevant subsea standards (API, DNV, ISO, ASME).
- Strong background in structural load assessments, fatigue analysis, and FEA, including offshore lifting.
- Experience in subsea piping, tie-in design, and offshore construction techniques.
- Knowledge of PLEM, PLET, flexible flowlines, and umbilicals is advantageous.
- Systematic, organized, and proactive with strong motivational skills.
- Solution-oriented, adaptable, and a collaborative team player.
- Consistent, high-quality output with a strong focus on HSE and Quality.
- Excellent communicator, fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and quality assurance.
