Senior Instrument Engineer

Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee conceptual development and detailed design of field instrumentation and metering systems (fiscal and allocation).
- Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and documentation.
- Create installation, testing, and startup procedures.
- Maintain extensive communication with clients and technical suppliers.
- Manage procurement packages and ensure compliance with relevant procedures and standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within a multi-discipline team.
- Deliver work on time according to client requirements.
- Participate in the bidding process for new contracts.
- Assist in supplier request preparations.
- Promote learning, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.
- Provide support to the base department.
Qualifications:
- Relevant technical education at the engineering level.
- 10+ years of experience in field instrumentation design and metering from studies and EPC projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
- Experience in project-driven organizations, with the ability to work independently and in a multi-discipline team.
- Process understanding and knowledge of laws, regulations, and technical standards.
- Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and quality assurance.
- Attention to details balanced with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Solid communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
