Senior Instrument Engineer

Key Accountabilities:

• Oversee conceptual development and detailed design of field instrumentation and metering systems (fiscal and allocation).
• Prepare technical specifications, data sheets, and documentation.
• Create installation, testing, and startup procedures.
• Maintain extensive communication with clients and technical suppliers.
• Manage procurement packages and ensure compliance with relevant procedures and standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within a multi-discipline team.
• Deliver work on time according to client requirements.
• Participate in the bidding process for new contracts.
• Assist in supplier request preparations.
• Promote learning, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.
• Provide support to the base department.

Qualifications:

• Relevant technical education at the engineering level.
• 10+ years of experience in field instrumentation design and metering from studies and EPC projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.
• Experience in project-driven organizations, with the ability to work independently and in a multi-discipline team.
• Process understanding and knowledge of laws, regulations, and technical standards.
• Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and quality assurance.
• Attention to details balanced with the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Solid communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
