With numerous long-term projects secured, DOF is expanding rapidly. We are looking for more colleagues to join our dynamic team and contribute to our success. We have a lot of exciting projects ahead, including a 3 year (with possible extension) Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) contract with Equinor as a client, starting offshore in the North Sea during spring 2025. Additionally, we have a world wide fleet, offering a chance to explore diverse environments and cultures.
We are looking for multiple Riggers to join our team. As a Rigger you will be responsible for setting up and operating lifting equipment to more heavy materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
Your key responsibilities includes:
- Verifying that all rigging equipment used during the lift is fit for purpose.
- Confirm all loads to be lifted are rigged in accordance to applicable standards, plans, and procedures to ensure the safety of the lift.
- Safeguard that only other certified and confirmed riggers attach and detach lifting equipment.
- Attend "Tool-Box-Talk" Meeting and assisting in the compilation/review of risk analysis.
- Utilize and support exercise All Stop Authority should the need occur.
In this role you will also have the opportunity to assist the Module Handling System (MHS), seafastning and operate the Push Pull system.

- The deck crew will work closely with the MHS Technicians executing deck related tasks as ‘One Team’. Internal training will be given to operate the Push-Pull Units (tractors) used to move subsea modules on deck.
- The deck crew shall preferably be Scandinavian speaking.
- The vessel shall potentially be working in the UK sector for shorter periods thus candidates with certificates and courses required for UK sector will be considered.
You need the following courses / certificates for operations in Norwegian waters:
- Basic Safety Course.
- G11 Rigging, hooking and banksman course.
- Preferably G20 for operating hydraulic deck crane.
- Preferably welding certificate for seafastening according to ISO 9606-1 Process 111 P BW/FW FM2 PD,PE,PF.
- Working at Height Course.
- Preferably WaH Rescue Course.
Courses specified that are not held by the candidate will be arranged as required by DOF.
