DNO Norge AS is looking for a Geophysical Specialist to join our exploration team in Stavanger. We are looking for candidates that interact and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Mature and improve the company's licence portfolio by identifying and evaluating prospects
- Prepare opportunities for internal and external reviews
- Contribute to increased regional understanding and knowledge of mature and immature plays to support DNO's exploration strategy
- Follow up operated and non-operated licences
- Contribute to technical quality assurances processes when required
Required experience and qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree within geology/geophysics/geoscience
- Experience from working in a cross-disciplinary team
- Experience from the Norwegian Continental Shelf
- Knowledge of hydrocarbon prospect volume and risk assessment
Personal qualities and skills:
- Enthusiastic team player
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Structured, proactive, and able to find suitable and adequate solutions
- Takes initiative
- Fluent in English written and oral
