We're looking for a skilled Senior Hardware Engineer to join our ambitious team in an exciting emerging company!
ABOUT ZIVID
Zivid has developed the world's most accurate real-time 3D camera for robotics and industrial applications. The camera provides robots and machines with 3D vision to make them smarter, more flexible, and more intelligent. Among many applications, the Zivid product can be used to recognize randomly distributed parts for pick-and-place or do in-line quality control of 3D components in a production line.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Hardware Engineer at Zivid, you will work closely with mechanical engineers, embedded firmware, test and machine vision engineers developing and validating electronics for the next generation 3D cameras.
You are passionate about electronics, circuit design and design for manufacturing as well as testing and validating the electronics and assembled products, with attention to quality and process improvements. You are not afraid of learning new skills, helping out in all aspects related to electronics design and validation work, and other related tasks.
Working on the electronics in our 3D cameras involves many interesting topics of focus such as; High-speed signals, power supplies, thermal design, electro-mechanical integration, environmental testing, regulatory compliance and automation of tests, which are all relevant areas of expertise.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience with development and validation of hardware and electronics products
- Hands on with lab equipment, including high-speed scopes, data acquisition, programmable power supplies, thermal test chambers, soldering small components, board rework for debugging, etc.
- Ability to follow up the design through prototyping, verification, and manufacturing by doing multidisciplinary system testing
- Experience with regulatory compliance, EMC, environmental and safety
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Excellent academic record
- Creative troubleshooting skills and problem-solving skills
- A self-driven team player with a passion for technology
- Good English verbal and written skills
- 5+ years’ experience
