Tom Wood is a Norwegian jewellery house founded in 2013 by Mona Jensen, and our Company consists of 55 employees across Oslo, Tokyo, and Barcelona.
Rooted in Scandinavian aesthetic principles of innovation and functionality, our jewellery house is known for its contemporary and distinctive design. With a commitment to responsible practices and quality, jewellery from Tom Wood is crafted to last a long time with the lowest environmental impact as possible.
As we continue on our growth journey, we are now going to strengthen our team with a new Head of Marketing.
About the Role
Tom Wood is looking for a dynamic, visionary, and strategic Head of Marketing to drive our creative and innovation-infused marketing initiatives, supporting our global brand narrative and enhancing our presence across key markets.
Working closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), the Head of Marketing will play a pivotal role in bringing our brand to life through 360 degree, customer-centered campaigns and experiences that inspire, engage, and elevate Tom Wood’s standing as a globally recognized, responsible jewellery house.
This role is ideal for a creative marketing leader who can seamlessly blend fresh, original ideas with strategic intent to amplify our impact and foster lasting customer connections.
Based at our HQ in Oslo, this role is part of the Marketing and PR Department and reports directly to the CMO.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership
- Lead the ideation, development, and execution of innovative, high-impact marketing campaigns that resonate across all channels and diverse global markets, positioning Tom Wood at the forefront of creative storytelling and brand engagement
- Drive a culture of creativity and innovation within the marketing team, encouraging bold ideas and disruptive concepts that align with Tom Wood’s vision and values
- Lead and manage internal team and external creative resources, ensuring high-quality output that meets brand standards
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing Officer and Creative Director to ensure visual consistency and creativity in all marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with other internal resources to deliver on physical installations, event elements and window campaign creative in retail and wholesale according to activation plan
Brand Management and Innovation
- Continually explore new marketing trends, tools, and platforms to keep Tom Wood at the forefront of the industry
- Implement a storytelling-driven approach to marketing that enhances the brand’s cultural positioning and responsible practices
- Monitor competitors and market trends to identify opportunities for creative differentiation
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with the Product, PR, Wholesale, Retail and E-commerce teams to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and other channels
- Lead the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of all campaigns and assets
Performance and Development
- Track and assess the performance of creative campaigns, ensuring they meet brand and commercial goals while delivering measurable impact
- Manage budgets for marketing initiatives, balancing creative ambition with financial accountability to ensure effective resource allocation
Key Qualifications
- Proven track record in creative marketing, with experience from international luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands
- Proven ability to lead a design-focused marketing team, with an emphasis on innovation and aesthetics
- Expertise in graphic design principles and campaign production
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Passion for discovering new trends, technologies, and creative opportunities to push the brand forward
- Fluent and professional in English communication for business and creative context
