Solutions Designer

As our Solution Designer, You Will: 

• Focus on equipment solutions for vessels, playing a key role in technical development and sales support. 

• Provide insight into specific product applications and their operational requirements. 

• Apply and develop engineering methods, promoting digital engineering through innovative tools and processes. 

• Maintain and develop our solution design portfolio for selected vessel types or segments. 

• Capture requirements and refine them into manageable design philosophies. 

• Collaborate with our technology areas and engineers, working with specialists in integration and systems engineering. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Technical education at BSc or MSc level. A combination of technical and non-technical subjects may be beneficial. 

• Interest in sustainable maritime energy systems, hybridization, and digital solutions is an advantage. 

• Knowledge of ship and vessel design legislation and insight into maritime operations. 

• Familiarity with relevant IT tools, such as CAD and Microsoft 365 productivity tools. 

• Proficiency in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written. 

This employment may require security clearance by the Norwegian National Security Authority, clearance through the Civil Aviation Authority, or a background check.

KM-site in Norway; Ålesund / Trondheim / Bergen/Hjørungavåg or other locations in Norway upon agreement.
