As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage are now looking for a: Senior Engineer Analysis in Stavanger who can help us succeed.

Aker Solutions takes care of energy assets from a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we are exploring opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing? 

• Create independent short analysis reports 
• Suggest simple solutions to structural challenges, such as support, new construction, extensions and reinforcements 
• Suggest simple solutions for method and installation 

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
• Look up and find relevant documents from previously performed analyses 
• Quick to be able to get acquainted with the operation of existing structures 
• Ability to suggest new realistic constructions
• Ability to analyses new constructions together with the existing ones 
• Create short analysis reports for new and existing constructions 
• Available for work in Norway
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
