As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage are now looking for a: Sr. Commissioning System Responsible Engineer SAS in Stavanger who can help us succeed.

We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we are exploring opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. What will you be doing? 

• Act in accordance with Vår Energi core values and HSE program Vår Energi representative for the SAS commissioning discipline performance 
• Ensure that the Commissioning activities are timely planned and executed 
• Participate in the process to establish a Commissioning network in the Project Completion System PIMS CMS, PIMS PES & PIMS SWCR as basis for planning and management of Commissioning activities 
• Participate in defining Commissioning activities agree milestones for Jotun FPSO as input for the integrated schedule 
• Actively cooperate with the project team during execution of Commissioning 
• Execute Commissioning activities together with the Contractor’s organisation in accordance with established procedures and plans 
• Execute Commissioning activities in accordance with Vår Energi and Contractor requirements for “Safe Execution of Work” 
• Undertake a review of previous lessons learned and the incorporation of relevant lessons learned into Commissioning planning 
• Do signing and reporting status from PIMS CMS, PIMS PES & PIMS SWCR for Commissioning 
• Participate in HAZID and HAZOP and other HSEQ related reviews 
• Contribute to the Management of Change process and to project risk workshop. Identify and follow up relevant risk and mitigating actions Preparations of the commissioning queries needed 
• Follow-up suppliers where MC/FAT is to be carried out including sites abroad. 
• Coordinate and support SAS Subsea as well as construction and commissioning interfaces across all disciplines, including engineering and EPCI contractor 
• Follow-up cyber security tasks towards suppliers and commissioning cyber security activities. 
• Act as a driving force for development and implementation of Commissioning activities for Jotun FPSO project

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience as Commissioning Engineer for SAS systems within larger development projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf 
• Experience with Honeywell SAS system will be considered an advantage 
• SAS Engineering experience in addition to long commissioning experience will be considered an advantage
• Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate
• Available for work in Norway
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
