Quality Assurance Engineer SC Manufacturing

In this role, you will be a part of our Manufacturing department in Supply Chain, Kongsberg Discovery. You will support the organization staying compliant to ISO9001 and develop quality systems in Manufacturing to meet KD requirements.

We are looking for a candidate who has experience from working with quality issues and who enjoys collaborating with others. In your day-to-day work you will collaborate across the company business units and departments, and through that further build your competence, your business understanding as well as your network.

Responsibilities

• Work with Manufacturing department on handling nonconformities and conduct root cause analysis
• Review and analyze test data from manufacturing, assembly, and test functions.
• Facilitate for and drive product and process improvements in manufacturing.
• Contribute to internal quality audits.
• Contribute to build test data management structure and system.
• Work with organization on handling nonconformities and conduct root cause analysis with focus on electronic parts, processes, and production

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelors degree within electronics or similar (relevant experience may outweigh formal education)
• Experience with test plans and data management systems
• Knowledge to quality management system ISO 9001
• Experience with root cause analysis
• Knowledge of Statistical Process control (SPC) 
• Manufacturing, production, and process experience
