As Aker Solutions’ global recruitment partner NES Advantage are now looking for a: 3Ds Max Designer in Stavanger who can help us succeed.

Aker Solutions takes care of energy assets from a Life Cycle perspective. From the start to end of production Aker Solutions ensures safe operations, optimizes field utilization, and enables field life-extensions. We do business development and execute modifications and maintenance projects. There is a global trend towards decarbonization, and we aim to help our customers to decarbonize their operations and measure their emissions to manage them more efficiently, for instance by delivering brownfield electrification of existing offshore facilities. Now we are exploring opportunities in the aftermarket for renewables, to deliver offshore maintenance for the renewable sector when the market is ready. Aker Solutions employs approximately 11,000 people in more than 20 countries.

What will you be doing? 

• Produce 3Ds Max animations of technical installation methods and detailed fabrication sequences 
• Partake/Host workshops with project team and effectively communicate scope and subsequent changes to project/other stakeholders 
• Assist in further developing the department's deliverables and technical competency

Qualifications we think you should have:

• Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience
• 5 years relevant experience is preferred 
• 3Ds Max Navisworks 
• VRay Adobe Creative Cloud
• Experience with computer programming languages such as C++, Java, Python etc. and gaming engines such as Unreal Engine and/or Unity is an advantage (but not a must
• Available for work in Norway
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English and team player
