At OptoScale, we’re a team of brilliant innovators dedicated to transforming aquaculture through advanced technology. Based in Trondheim, we handle everything from hardware design to software development and customer support. - Data collection & analysis: Gather and organize data from various sources, identify patterns, risks and opportunities, and present meaningful insights to guide decision-making.
- Data tools & solutions: Help develop and refine tools, software, and our ERP system to improve operational excellence and provide management with easy access to the data and insights they need.
- Cross-department collaboration: Work with different teams to support data-driven insights, build useful analyses and measures for improvement.
- Operational efficiency: Play a role in streamlining our processes, making data a central part of every decision.
We are looking for someone who can ideally tick some of these boxes:
- Holds a master's degree in business, economics, industrial economics, engineering or a similar field.
- Has strong analytical skills and an interest in tackling challenges and finding solutions.
- Communicates clearly and effectively, both written and verbal.
- A self-starter who is genuinely interested in learning and contributing.
- Enjoys working with others, thrives in collaborative environments, and can juggle multiple tasks in a structured way.
- Is comfortable with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bonus: Any familiarity with statistics, Python, HTML, or mathematics is a great addition but not required.
What might make OptoScale the right place for you:
- A future career: While the position is initially for two years, there is an opportunity for a permanent role tailored to your skills and ambitions.
- A collaborative culture: Work alongside skilled colleagues in a supportive and friendly environment.
- Empowerment & flexibility: Enjoy room to shape your role and how things are done.
- Opportunities to grow: Access training to build a solid foundation in technical and management skills.
- Meaningful impact: Contribute to projects that make a difference for the industry and environment.
- Good employee benefits: We offer arrangements that support your well-being.
