Dansk design lampe 1968

Never came a cross this beautiful designed floor lamp before. Never thought it to be danish origin but it holds such a great history besides being a stunning minimalistic comtemporary design. Benny Frandsen founder of BF Lamper, Skanderborg started designing lighting in 1968 and this BF Lampen ( BF the lamp) was his first creation. The company changed name to Frandsen Lighting and later to Frandsen Group which today is one of Denmarks large lighting companies. So this beautiful “The Lamp” is what set of the journey to become renowned Frandsen Group. Back to the awesome design piece here. Orange lacquered, very well built and flexible since light is being distributed both from and back. The head can be directed 360 degrees and even the two plastic grids are designed with squares to complement and combine the design. This is indeed a very special and rare piece. Beautiful patinated with few scratches to the lacqier and all original with company label inside. Light source: E27 / E26 Edison screw fitting max 60W. Comes with the original cord with switch attached. Size: 130cm / 51.2” high. The head itself is 23cm / 9” long.
