Gibson SG Government Series I 2013

For sale is a 2013 Gibson SG Government Series 1 in a rare Dark Grey with the original case and paperwork in immeculate condition.

In August of 2011, the US Government raided the Gibson factory in Nashville and seized a large amount of wood. The seized wood, mostly rosewood, was eventually returned. This limited-edition guitar sports a rosewood fretboard that was seized in that raid. The Government Series SG gives you genuine Gibson sound and looks in an affordable US-made guitar.

Limited to a run of 300 guitars, each Gibson Government Series SG guitar includes Dirty Fingers humbuckers and a custom and super rare olive green hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity hand-signed by Henry Juszkiewicz. Veeery collectable indeed!

This guitar is in excellent condition and in perfect working order. There are some super light scratches on the pickguard and nothing else to be seen or found. Currently strung a .011s and tuned half step down.

Overall, I would rate the condition a solid 9.99 out of 10. Everything on the guitar is original. There are no cracks, repairs, or issues. The neck is straight with no issues. The original frets are in excellent condition with no wear. The original case works great yet has some dings and scratches on the sides. The certificate and paperwork are included with the guitar.
