Tietoevry Banking is looking for Product Portfolio Manager – Financial Crime Prevention

We are looking for a Portfolio Manager who wants to be part of Tietoevry Banking, Financial Crime Prevention (FCP). This unit is a leading provider of fraud prevention, anti-money laundering (AML) and identity solutions in the Nordics. FCP’s mission is to help keep financial systems and society at large, safe from criminal activity. We are responsible for product strategy, drive efficient and collaborative innovation and transformation within banking by delivering cutting-edge products, services, and processes that enhance the customer experience and operational efficiency. Product holds the responsibility for innovation, continuous product development, product lifecycle management, prioritization, and P&L. We collaborate closely with Engineering, Customer Success, Compliance, Sales and Marketing as well as cross-functional teams across Tietoevry and customers.
When joining Tietoevry Banking, FCP as a Product Portfolio Manager you will play a key role in streamlining our innovation process, managing the FCP`s product portfolio through strategic planning, coordination, and optimization of product development initiatives and deliveries within agile framework, Tietoevry- and relevant ISO-standards and portfolio management. You will ensure that the portfolio aligns with the FCP's long-term goals and maximizing return on investment. This is a new role, and you will work both strategic and hands-on. This position reports to Head of Product.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Head of Product, and peers to establish a strong product development and –portfolio management function within the FCP
- Portfolio management
- Develop and implement efficient strategies and processes for product development
- Ensure clear product strategy, prioritization, and resource allocation across products
- Oversee the entire product development process, from idea generation to product launch, ensuring alignment with the portfolio strategy
- Facilitate innovation and portfolio management meetings, establish governance processes and decision-making and reporting within the portfolio
- Develop and maintain portfolio strategies to support products, FCP and business OKRs
- Monitor portfolio performance, assess risks, track key metrics to ensure success
- Foster a culture of creativity, continuous improvement, and innovation within the portfolio
- Advocate innovation, knowledge sharing and learning culture, empower colleagues through training and support
- Maintain high-level external roadmaps to guide product development
- Facilitate workshops involving customers, product managers and UX-designers
- Gather user feedback, conduct market research, and stay informed about industry trends and technology to inform product decisions
- Provide updates, contribute to meetings and participate in strategy discussions
- Support financial planning and budgeting aligned with portfolio needs
- Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies and project management standards
As a Product Portfolio Manager this role encompasses strategic oversight, operational management, and promoting innovation and alignment to drive success in the product portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Innovation, Technology, Civil Engineering, Civil Economics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in portfolio management, product lifecycle management, product development management, lean process management or similar
- Or 2 years’ experience as a senior product manager from a well-known consulting company
- Well-versed in SAFe agile (or similar) methodologies and/or project management
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to analyse market data, product performance and assess risks and opportunities to make informed decisions
- Ability to simplify and present complex information in a clear, concise manner to a variety of audiences
- Must speak and write Norwegian fluently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience with design and behavioural thinking is an advantage
- Experience from banking, trust services or fintech is an advantage
