Electrical Power System Engineer / Elkraft ingeniør

Description

• The position will join a team working 100% with different kinds of electrical power system analysis.
• The position is in the maritime and offshore department.

Requirement

• A master's degree in electrical power systems (Elkraft) with very good results is an absolute mandatory for the position.
• The position requires a person who has very good theoretical skills.
• The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of project experience from Norwegian projects in Norway.

Our client does an extensive range of different type of analyses, typical analysis:

• AC and DC power system studies like short circuit, selectivity, THD, arc flash.
• Short circuit analysis, protective device coordinator for AC and DC systems, Harmonic calculation
• Arc flash analysis, loas flow analysis, resonance calculation, dynamic studies like motor start analysis and stability.
• Dynamic studies, Earth fault calculations, battery lifetime calculation, Fuel saving, CO2 and NOx

IT Systems

• The main tools will be Matlab/Simulink and Sincal (internal client system)

Duration

• Start asap with one year duration in the first place, but with possibilities for extension or perm position.

Workplace

• Bergen, 5 days a week
