We’re looking for a Forklift Operations Instructor to join our Maintenance team in Lier! You’ll work closely with various departments across locations to ensure forklift availability meets operational demands and that any issues are addressed promptly to avoid disruption. You’ll be asked to take responsibility for ensuring the operational readiness and proper utilization of all forklifts in Lier, as well as conducting training and certifying all forklift personnel within Oda.
As a Forklift Operations Instructor at Oda, you’ll coordinate routine maintenance and repairs, manage forklift inventory, and ensure that operators are properly certified and adhere to safety standards. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where tasks arise quickly, and you’ll tackle various operational challenges.
What you’ll do as Forklift Operations Instructor with us
- Coordinate maintenance and manage service provider relationships for timely repairs
- Ensure that Lier have necessary forklift equipment and coordinate procurement
- Ensure operators are certified and trained in safe forklift use
- Enforce safety regulations and report incidents promptly
- Prepare weekly maintenance, incident reports, and track costs
- Ensure forklift availability and resolve operational issues
- Be the go-to person for any maintenance and service questions

- Are experienced in maintaining accurate records and generating clear reports
- Have great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Have strong leadership skills to guide forklift operators and foster a culture of safety and efficiency
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing needs
- Well-organized in keeping track of inventory and maintenance schedules
The following will probably be helpful
- Certified forklift license with at least 12 months of driving experience
- Certified to train and certify forklift operators
- Experience in relevant health, safety, and environment (HMS) training, along with a teaching course and forklift instructor certification
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in English, spoken and written
- Interested and have strong knowledge of forklift operations, maintenance, and safety
