Project Engineer in Stavanger

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Stavanger, Norway. Our regional team is expanding, and we need more bright minds to help meet the growing demand for completion equipment from TAQA.

This is a highly diverse and flexible role in which you will be involved in all aspects of project deliveries. This includes everything from pre-well planning, ordering of equipment, delivery and mobilization, and installation of equipment offshore. In this role you will work closely with both external clients and internal resources to determine the best solutions for completion equipment, and to ensure that these are delivered and installed as seamlessly as possible. The position consist of both project management, sales, logistics and technical work (completions). It also includes some offshore activities and hands-on work.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

- Client contact for specific projects

- Early phase planning of completion equipment for specific wells

- Ordering of equipment as per client requirement

- Coordinating projects and equipment deliveries

- Ensure timely mobilization of equipment from base to rig

- Provide operational and offshore support if needed

- Assist in invoicing and keeping track of stock levels and equipment installed

- Assist in forecasting of projects and ensuring budgets are up to date

- Follow up NCRs and other quality related issues

- Provide technical support for existing and new assets

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Petroleum Engineering Degree (drilling & well/reservoir technology/chemistry), or similar background/experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

- Experience/knowledge/interest in lower completion equipment

- Good communication skills, both in Norwegian and English

- Team player – will work closely with external customers and internal resources

- Comfortable working in a highly dynamic working environment

- Some offshore experience is preferred, but not required
