Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE management systems.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations, maintaining strong relationships with relevant authorities.
- Conduct and support risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits to promote injury and risk prevention.
- Deliver HSE training, including inductions, to enhance awareness and compliance across the organization.
- Manage occupational health provisions, emergency response, and hazardous material communication processes.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- A BSc or MSc in HSE, engineering, or a related discipline (experience can substitute for formal education).
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a dedicated HSE role, with a solid understanding of regulatory frameworks.
- Fluency in English and Norwegian (mandatory due to regulatory and operational requirements).
- Proficiency in HSE management systems and IT tools, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desired:
- Expertise in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Industrial Protection standards.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement safety training programs for a diverse workforce.
- Strong interpersonal skills to bridge communication between management and employees effectively.
- Experience in auditing, incident investigation, and corrective action implementation.
- An adaptable and approachable personality with a track record of fostering trust and collaboration.
