Finance & Administration Manager
Our Client, a growing company in the maritime sector located in Bergen, is seeking a proactive colleague for a newly created position as Finance & Administration Manager. The role involves financial management, administrative coordination, and corporate reporting. You will manage a small administration team, collaborate with the parent company and subsidiary offices, and report directly to the CEO. As this is a newly established position, tasks and responsibilities can be tailored to your skills, with gradual transitions from other team members. The role combines both delegating and hands-on responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Finance:
- Manage and oversee financial operations, including accounting, budgets, reporting, and audits.
- Collaborate with project managers and the commercial team on budgeting.
- Drive improvements in financial tools and procedures.
Administration:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the administration team.
- Coordinate and execute reporting on HR, HSE, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Higher academic degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proactive, team-oriented, and solution-focused.
- Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- Experience in HR, HSE, or QA is an advantage but not required. Training and development opportunities will be provided.
