Do you have experience with network design?

We are seeking an experienced Automation – OT/Cyber Security Specialist to join a large offshore brownfield project. The role focuses on ensuring that network infrastructure is designed and delivered in compliance with Network and Cyber Security Specifications. The successful candidate will work on complex projects, collaborating with various teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure the successful implementation of secure and efficient network infrastructures.

Job Description

• Define network infrastructure design and ensure compliance with customer specifications.

• Participate in FAT testing and verification of switches, routers, firewalls, and other network components.

• Perform risk assessments of supplier packages and systems, using the IEC62443 Cyber Security Standard.

• Manage interfaces between various disciplines, suppliers, contractors, and clients.

• Facilitate and lead Risk Vulnerability Analysis (RVA) workshops.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in the design, configuration, testing, and support of large network infrastructures, including switch, firewall, and server configuration.

• At least 2 years of experience in network design and/or cyber security, preferably within oil & gas EPC projects or industrial control systems.

• Hands-on experience with communication networks and protocols

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

• A cooperative working attitude and ability to work in a multicultural team environment.

• Multidisciplinary knowledge and a proactive approach to design processes.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Systematic and accurate in execution.

• High commitment to deadlines and quality standards.

• Proactive in seeking advice and sharing experiences with colleagues.

• Fluency in English (oral and written); fluency in Norwegian is an advantage.
