The Graduate Flow Assurance Engineer will:
- Support flow assurance experts in project and operations teams.
- Participate in safety review meetings (HAZID, HAZOP), audits, verification and design reviews as part of wider project study requirements etc.
- Participate in project risk workshops. Identify and follow up relevant risks and opportunities with corresponding actions.
- Collect relevant data and run flow assurance related simulations as required.
- Support flow assurance activities with close interface to relevant disciplines, i.e. Subsea, Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF) / Subsea Production System (SPS) disciplines.
Important skills and experience to be successful in this role are:
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, tenacity and have excellent communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and be adaptable and flexible to acquiring specialist consulting and technology skills.
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary team environments.
- Proven academic experience in Flow Assurance; and a minimum Master’s degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
- Academic experience in the use of industry standard, single phase and multiphase flow software tools used for steady state and transient modelling i.e. OLGA, PIPESIM, PIPENET, LedaFlow, etc.
- Academic experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Cryogenic transport experience, LNG, Ammonia, LH2;
- Supercritical transport experience, Dense phase Natural gas, CO2;
- Midstream transport experience (especially operations);
- Network modelling (especially operations);
- Operator Flow Assurance experience;
- Technical Process and Systems Engineering experience.
- Fluent in English both orally and written.
Candidates must have the right to reside and work in Norway.
