Project Manager
Vard Electro seeks Project Managers, to be responsible for all aspects of a project. This includes initiation, planning, design, execution and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion, within budget, at full satisfaction of the Client and consistent with the contract and financial objectives for Vard Electro.
The position reports to VP Project Management.

Duties and responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for:
- Establishing the project organization
- Contract monitoring and being primarily responsible for clarification of contractual and specification factors
- Team leadership, strategic influencing and taking decisions that benefits the project
- Risk- and deviation management
- Delivering according to contract
- Managing suppliers according to contract
- Budget- and result responsibility for the project and monthly financial reporting
- Monitoring, reporting and communicating project status internally and externally
- Controlling quality and contributing to continuous improvement
- Other administrative tasks in the Projects
- Key contact towards the Project Organization at the Yard
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelor/Master degree is an advantage
- Relevant experience from Projects is an advantage
- Relevant work experience in Project Management and/or technical experience from maritime industry can replace formal education
- English fluent, both written and spoken
