Wesmans’ Survey Team provides marine-, cargo- & transport liability surveys for our clients within the logistics-, transport- and marine- & cargo insurance industry.

Our surveyors provide Cargo-, Pre-Shipment-, Condition-, Loading and Lashing surveys, Heavy-lift operations and preparation of transport manuals/procedures, lashing and securing arrangements and various training courses to Insurance companies, Logistics providers, Shipping companies, Manufacturing industry, Oil and gas industry, Ports and terminals and Authorities

The vacant position for Marine & Cargo Surveyor includes both Marine and Cargo Surveys.

Requirements

• Experience: Experience working within the maritime, transport and/or logistic sector.

- Priority will be given to applicants with a background as a Deck or Engine Officer or in a technical field, where documented experience in similar roles may be considered a substitute for formal education.

• Licenses: Valid Driving license.
• Language Skills: Clear communication and language skills in both English and a Nordic language, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Key responsibilities:

• Attend surveys throughout Norway and sometimes abroad.
• Liaise with Principals and timely reporting.
• Be a team player working closely with all Wesmans departments in Norway and abroad.
