Thor Medical ASA is looking for a Head of Finance and IT

Thor Medical ASA is looking for a business-oriented and hands-on Head of Finance and IT to take on a key role in the organization. As Head of Finance and IT, you will be responsible for developing the company’s finance function and its activities within IT and in particular ERP. 

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong analytical skillset, an open growth mindset and excellent project management and leadership skills. The position reports directly to the company’s CFO. Thor Medical is a company on a strong growth trajectory. The right candidate will be met with opportunities to grow with the company into leading positions in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Support the CFO in strategic initiatives and financial decision-making

·        Lead the process of interim- and annual reporting of the company under its obligations

as a listed company at the Oslo Stock Exchange

·        Develop and maintain financial models to support business scenarios and long-term planning

·        Work with the operations team define and optimize performance data

·        Enhance financial planning processes, tools, and systems to boost efficiency and adaptability

·        Develop and drive the company’s strategy within general IT operations and ERP in particular

Qualifications

·        Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field

·        Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis. Experience from auditing, management consulting, or Big5 due diligence work is also relevant

·        Strong business and analytical skills, with a good understanding of accounting practices, preferably with IFRS experience

·        Good communication and presentation skills, both written and oral

·        Bring a positive, enthusiastic and hands-on attitude to work
