There are countless requirements for subsea surveys throughout the global oceans. Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and control of RS IT system and survey sensors used on vessel and ROV systems.
- Perform pre and post dive checks on survey sensors and report any findings to Supervisor/ Party chief / ROV supervisor.
- Ensure that the Survey system is operational at all times.
- Take responsibility of support for equipment.
- First line support of survey systems, sensors, and RS IT system.
- Conducting mobilisations and calibrations of equipment on the vessel.
- Reporting and labelling of faulty/damaged equipment to RS feedback system and workshop.
- Assist with equipment logistics
Requirements:
- Extended understanding of operational requirements of surface and subsurface survey positioning and data acquisition sensors.
- Knowledge of calibration techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with survey systems
- Fault-finding techniques.
- Familiarity with end-of-trip reports and other company documentation.
- Knowledge of different interfacing protocols and their limitations.
- Basic knowledge of producing test and subsea cables.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
