Job Description

• Serve as the system responsible engineer for Active Fire Protection (AFP).

• Perform system design, including all associated tasks.

• Conduct PIPENET steady-state calculations; knowledge of PIPENET transient is preferred.

• Create and update P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).

• Manage and coordinate multidiscipline interfaces.

• Ensure all work complies with relevant instructions, procedures, and contract requirements.

• Monitor and adhere to project schedules.

 

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in mechanical or safety engineering.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the listed responsibilities.

• Detailed knowledge of firewater pumps; preferred familiarity with NFPA 20 standards.

• Experience with SIL, control systems, and automation within AFP.

• Thorough understanding of national regulations and standards, including TR and NORSOK.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong multidiscipline understanding.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

• Proactive mindset with a commitment to quality and meeting deadlines.
