The rainforest provides vital environmental services for our planet that we all depend on, but it is under extreme pressure and in some areas reaching a tipping point. Rainforest Foundation Norway (RFN), born out of the commitment of pop singer Sting, has successfully championed rainforest protection, in and outside Norway, for the past 35 years. Building on a growing momentum for forests, climate and nature positive action and in the lead up to the first ever climate conference hosted in Brazil’s rainforest, COP30, RFN is looking for an experienced fundraiser to secure and grow sustainable support from leading, responsible companies in Norway and Nordic region. The rainforest contains a treasure trove of powerful stories, imagery and existential questions, and your job will be to champion this agenda to the corporate world and nurture and develop highly engaging partnerships with existing and new business champions for nature and climate. You will be part of the External Relations department consisting of dedicated and skilled people across a marketing team and institutional partnerships. There are key untapped opportunities that lie in cooperation with relevant players, and we are increasing our focus on the business sector. This is a position with some exciting challenges and lots of opportunities!

Your main duties will be:

• To be responsible for effectively managing, driving increased engagement and growth of key corporate partners of RFN.
• To lead the development of strategic business partnerships, with emphasis on communicating the urgency and enhancing the value proposition to compel responsible Norwegian – in time, Nordic - businesses to act, as well as on innovation in a market that is constantly moving.
• Create stronger, sustainable relationships based on trust, credibility, knowledge and insight.

Qualifications we look for

• High competence and proven experience of growing partnerships in the Norwegian business sector and their value chains related to environment and sustainability (ESG - environmental, social and corporate governance). Minimum 6 years working as Key Account Manager, including proven track records of successfully fundraising for the non-profit sector.
• Excellent relationship building, planning and organizational skills applied to the Norwegian Corporate Sector and non-profit sector.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and experience working in multicultural settings.
• Strategic thinking, planning skills mixed with good knowledge and experience of market strategy.
• Fluency in English as the organization's working language is English.

This full-time, permanent position is based at our head office in Oslo.
