Product Advisor - Dynamic Positioning

We are looking for a devoted Product Advisor for our world leading dynamic positioning product, K-Pos. With a huge installed base and a future with great opportunities for our products, have lot of interesting challenges.

In this role, you will be maintaining and modernizing our existing DP products and functionalities to meet established targets. This role involves actively developing new functionalities to expand our DP product into new market segments and deliver added value for our customers. Additionally, you will provide technical assistance to our sales organization, delivery projects, and customer support organization.

The DP team consists of people with high knowledge and experience within their field. You will be joining a group of people that are among the best in the world. At Kongsberg Maritime we are shaping the maritime future every day and you will be a key player within one of the most exiting areas of the business.

We would like you to have

• MSc or BSc in cybernetics, hydro dynamics, electrical engineering or equivalent.
• DP Product knowledge, familiar with DP product and functionalities from development, delivery or service organization.
• DP market and operational knowledge, familiar with DP operations.
• Experience from product development work.
• Good communication skills including both written and spoken English.
• You can take initiative, drive things forward and accept responsibility while also spotting business opportunities that help boost growth and profits.
• You can make an impact by convincing and promoting your ideas. You also share your expertise and work towards common team goals.
